SEMII FINAL.......at last!!!!!

in a strong equal, fast, entertaining till the last moment game croconile were able to out-due the stubborn glacticos. this game was on till the last minute as both team didn't give up with croconilers showing team chemistry for the first time this league.

galacticos controlled most of the first half by their numbers in midfield and the slow pace game played by aly khaled. but the heavy fitness training definitely showed in the second half in croconilers favor as they were able to outplay the galacticose and take control of midfield and the whole game.

a remarkable show by bedo who was introduced in the second half saw the team gain momentum which was turned into goals. that saw them cruise till the end of the game. but croconilers paid for the lay-back attitude that saw galacticose miss a couple of chances but still the clinched on to the victory and were able to bring the game to safety.

here are the ratings for all the players.

RATINGS:

Fareed 8 : a great show by the Egyptian as he really rose up to the challenge layed upon him with a couple of very good saves. today fareed showed alot of confidence which really boosted his teams performance. but a couple of fumbles one in the first half and the other late in the second could have cost him alot. but bakr was the (thank god) and all was saved.

khorshed 8.5 : this guy has shown nothing but hard work commitment and consistency whenever he is called upon he is there to take the challenge and literally do what is asked of him. calm supportive and smart this player is rare. he may not be the most creative player but he makes up for it in effort. a job well done!

Bakr 8 : an outstanding performance from the skipper made tons of crucial interceptions tons of clearances two of these clearances were from off the line!!! But in one of these clearences he almost made a catastrophic mistake that would have seen the opponent equalize. Set that aside his passing accuracy was very good. He got rid of his slowness and he pushed up the defence to back up the midfield which really helped the midfielder’s alot!! Bakr again was seen shaky on the pitch shouting and yelling roughly at his team mates. Overall Good show “COMMANDER”

Shamy 7 : a good performance by the youngster but still he has so much to learn to improve his game he should be more calm and avoid making unnecessary fouls. He closed good on the attackers and deffinetly was able to stop him. He was also able to improve his heading but shamy simply gave away to many fouls.when i look at shamy i don’t just see a promising player i see a small bakr

Ziad 9 : frankly i am really sick and tired of giving this guy high ratings!!!! Not only did he score acrucial goal not only did he form the strongest attacking side of the team not only did he make it impossible for the opponent to attack from his side. Ziad was awarded the honorary “ a7med fat7y of the team” award by islaam 3adel. For thos of u who are not smart enough to know what this means let me light up ur mind. Simply a7med fat7y is known to be the greatest MAN ever to play football. As u can see I wrote MAN capital on purpose because this guy (ziad and captain fathy) give soo much energy in the gam that you think they are unhuman. They do everything for their team and they never give up leading to them easly being the match star every game.

Ziad it is an honour to play with you ( on current form) and i truely envy you for the second most prestigious award ( first being “ abo treika of the team” ( it has never been given before)) please keep it up.

Aly 7 : looked lost in the first half and a bit slow several misspases and the ball was taken from him alot. He also wasn’t available for the high balls played by both goal-keepers. But he showed alot of energy throughout the game. In the second half things changed a bit for him he was more focused thanks to the calming talk given by the coach. Defensively he was present although his positioning wasn’t always perfect but he definitely gave effort. I think the team expects more from him.

Ayoub 9: you may say that i give out nines too easily. But today ayoub was not only in top form not only did he ran non-stop for the whole game but ayoub played so good the it make the out of form Aly look good. So without ayoub i think aly’s mark could have went down to a 6. Ayoun’s postioning was beyond perfect his mind was on the game 100% he totally understood his role and was able to execute with 100% efficiency great passing great efoort great positioning if he has score i woul have given him the 10!!! I may be an ayoub fanatic but not all people really see and appreciate what he does tactically for the team.

Haytham 7.5 finally haytham came out of the dark tunnel of the ICN and was able to bring his show of football back to life. Haytham was deffinetly there infront and he made the link between defence and offence he touched the ball in almost every attack and he made hisself available for his team-mates every part of the game. I knoe he may frustrated when i say this but . WE WANT MORE FROM YOU!!!

Zizo 7.5 he formed a lively combination with ziad made a few sarges on the right and was able to increase his passing . still zizo finds it hard to use his skills on the large field he should focus more on manoeuvring with his legs and body instead of trying to outrun the opponent. But the youngster showed character under pressure .

Chester 6.5 he seemed lost in the new position and i don’t think he has the right skills to play ther. Alaa is either a defensive player or a midfielder as his best aspect is getting the ball from the opponent and occasionally starting attacks but his movement off the ball was terrible and he also kept the ball for too much. In his defence alla playyes sick so that probably took alot out of him.

Sameh 8 : beautiful. From my humble point of view and if i may say . Finally sameh is playing a team sport! Although his rating is not as high as ziad and he may have taken more in other games but today sameh really showed spirit compassion and team-chemistry that he really lacked in previous games . passing the ball around going under to get the ball trying at goal at all the right moments. He even ordered bedo to shoot for the second goal despite being empty. This really shows how this player has evolved under amr magd. I am sure that next match he will be the star or at least have a great impact at the match result. Finally i recommend that he goes back to the winger position as he knows how to run and thanks to gos he finally learnt when to run .( i am not saying this to please you i dont give a ******* what you think)

Bedo 9: to come onto the field make an assist and score a beautiful securing goal this is a substitutes (and a coach’s) dream. It truely was a dream to the in formA bedo as he pounded the galacticose defense taking every ball from them and controlling the pace of the game up front making all the righ passes at all the right times bedo was on fire. His goal came from a beautiful body manouver that saw the defender stand helplessly while bedo fired a shot from the corner of the box into the net. I recommend bedo to focus more on his career and to give up any distractions your team really needs you upfront

Islam 7.5 a great show by the experienced attacking midfielder. He was able to fill haytham’s shoes and move the ball upfront made some interceptions and some more good passes . should given a vintage islam adel through or two but he fell short . he made a good attempt at goal but his shot was wide. But deffinetly served as a tool to move the ball upfront. A solid substitution always in amr’s hand.

MIGO 7.5 although he came on late but migo made an impact on the defence as he helped shutdown the right side. He pressured the offence and made them find it difficult to move around upfront. Another solid defender at amr’s use all the time. From my opinion in this game migo showed real strong defensive quality at right back but hw is never to be given any offensive roles to prevent last games problem.

Amr Magd 8.5 : overall good game , good substitutions and good team. Amr was able to make the team focus on the match and nothing else as the whole week was devoted for the game i hope he continues to do this throught the league. Finally team chemistry is on the horizon as the team now passes more comfortably. Chester shouldn’t have started in that position.but i admired that you kept your word by punishing players that do not follow the rules. But a replacement shoud have been thought of. But other then that solid coaching with perfect pep talks before during and after the match. Amr should control his coach though as they both don’t have the same mindsets. But bakr’s behaviour is taken also on Amr. He should definitely have a talk with his skipper over the after –match incident .SOLID COACHING COACH.

P.S. please don’t let the ratings fool you there is still alot of work to be done on our passing game. As we still haven't even come close to being able to pass comfortably. We still lack chemistry but i see that if we focus in training on the passing game then without a doubt we will be able to play the beautiful passing game that we aim to play.

The team should focus more on moving the ball to our strong side and the players should do the easy pass and move it as fast as possible.

These numbers now mean nothing as they are part of history. And history is written by the victors. If you lose next match this review and all the others will be worth shot so i ask you to give the next game your best.

P.S. 2 the next game is the most important game of my life
